“I GO WHERE THE ISSUE IS BECAUSE I AM THE CONCIERGE THERAPIST”

Bradley Feig, PHD (candidate), specializes in the use of behavioral psychology in the treatment of conditions. He uses techniques known historically as behavior modification, today more commonly referred to as behavior analysis, applied behavior analysis, or verbal behavior. This approach is scientifically driven and seeks to understand the causes of inappropriate behaviors/conditions through understanding their impact upon the environment. The techniques are applications of psychological research that began in the 1930′s and saw the first applications to human behavior change in the 1950′s. It began with the work of Watson and B.F. Skinner. Virtually all of the applied analysis or applied verbal behavior being done today is derived from this early research in the psychology of learning. Behavior analysis relies on what is referred to as the functional analysis of behavior and generally uses techniques of positive reinforcement to teach appropriate behavior and to replace inappropriate behaviors. This is Bradley Feig’s area of expertise.

Behavior analysis services can be used to treat adults with:

  • Depression
  • Social anxiety
  • Work issues
  • Career counseling
  • Familyand grief counseling
  • Social acceptance
  • Marriage therapy
  • Drug, alcohol, and/or food addiction
